Site Update: Azerbaijan, Bermuda & China

Two countries have been added to AerialF1, and China has been completed including a couple of StreetView updates. Azerbaijan has been included in the Asia section (detailing one street circuit) and Bermuda has been added to Central America (detailing one small track). China has been completed with the final kart tracks and street circuits and Macau now has a link to StreetView. (more…)

China has been added to the Asia section of AerialF1, detailing many circuits and kart tracks in the country. Information on the circuits is a bit sketchy due to official sites being in Chinese. However, as and when data is translated it will be added. (more…)

Iran has been added to the Asia section of AerialF1, detailing three circuits in the country. The Azadi Sport Complex comprises of a driving school and kart track (listed separately) and also the still proposed iLand Race Resort that is yet to be built. (more…)

Thailand has been added to the Asia section of AerialF1, detailing fourteen circuits and kart tracks in the country. Bira is perhaps the most used and received certification from the FIA, allowing its use for the South East Asia Touring Car Zone Challenge. (more…)

Cambodia has been added to the Asia section of AerialF1, detailing two kart tracks in the country. The imagery for Obye is poor and I believe the track wasn’t actually built at the time the aerial pictures were taken. As and when Google updates, I will too. (more…)

Site Update: Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal & Vietnam

Jordan, Lebanon, Nepal and Vietnam have been added to the Asia section of AerialF1, detailing six kart tracks across the four countries. Although not a popular pastime, motorsport is developing in these Asian/Middle Eastern nations, and with Formula One looking ever closer at this region of the world, it wouldn’t surprise me to see more circuits cropping up in the future. Site Update: Honda Test Facility Historical Imagery

A new page has been created for Honda Test Facility in Japan. The oval track was in use when AerialF1 started out at BlogF1, but since then the track has been decommissioned, torn up, and now built over. However, with the power of Google Earth, we can still see the circuit in all it’s former glory thanks to the historical imagery function. (more…)
