Argentina has been added to AerialF1, detailing 98 circuits in the South American country. With one of the greatest drivers to have competed in Formula One (Juan Manuel Fangio), Argentina has close ties with motorsport and this is reflected by the volume of circuits they have. (more…)

Site Update: Street View Circuits

A couple of updates on the Google Street View car getting around some of the world’s most famous racing circuits have been deployed and updated here on AerialF1. Most interestingly for me is that Silverstone has been photographed in its Arena layout, yet the aerial imagery is still quite old and now doesn’t match the Street View. Also added to the site is the Street View for Interlagos, home of the upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix and host of many championship show-downs. (more…)

Site Update: Taiwan, Sri Lanka, Spain & Paraguay

A few updates to the Asia, Europe and South America sections of AerialF1. Taiwan has been added, detailing three circuits, while Monteblanco in Spain now has decent imagery and has also been added. Sri Lanka has seen one addition in the Gunner Supercross Track as has Paraguay. (more…)

Chile has been added to the South America section of AerialF1, detailing twenty-four circuits found in the country. The nation has a limited motorsport industry but does boast a few autodromos and kart tracks as well as many old street courses (yet to be mapped). (more…)
